The Donelle Series hulls hold the traditional lines and proportions of the Northumberland Strait Lobster Boat Fleet. Her sharp entry cuts smoothly though short choppy seas. A low freeboard keeps her deck close to the water, ideal for a comfortable inshore lobster boat.
With superb maneuverability and a shallow draft, our Donelle hulls are easily pushed, reaching 20 knots with only 400-hp.

The “BIG” Little Boat! Available with either commercial or sport fish cabins, the Donelle 35 is known for its spacious cockpit.
For the Lobstermen: Enjoy a fast and fuel-efficient ride without sparing too much deck space. With nearly 20′ from transom to cabin wall is more deck than many 40′ boats out there. The smaller commercial cabin makes for the perfect day boat still with enough area for a head, galley, settee, and berths for two.

Donelle 43
Hundreds have been sold throughout Canada and the U.S. since the mid 90’s. In 2019, we raised the freeboard allowing for deeper fish holds and a larger engine to be installed under a flush deck.
We have also modified the cabin giving it a “new look”!
The Donelle 43, known for its fuel efficiency at a 16-20 knot cruise, is the ultimate day boat. Now with deeper holds, it also appeals to commercial tuna fishermen, salmon gilnetters, and other applications where speed and fuel consumption are of concern.
Where most builders have gone to wider hulls, the Donelle 43 still possesses the tradition proportions with a 14’6″ beam tapering to 12’2″ at her transom.
Donelle 45
